Valve To Prevent Backflow

Caution at the time of installation

• Install the valve to prevent backward flow in the central heating system of apartment buildings. Do not install this valve in individual heating systems.
• Valves to prevent backward flow are installed in one touch water taps as used by Daelim, Royal Toto, Yoojin and American Standard.

• If there is no valve to prevent backward flow installed while using the water saving showerhead at a desired temperature, hot water may suddenly flow forth. In that case, install a valve to prevent backward flow.

• Insert only to the cold water tap as shown in the following diagram.
• Different valves are use for new and old water taps. Check the location of the nut to select and install a relevant anti backward flowing valve as shown in the following diagram.
• There are two types of valves to prevent backward flow.
